Vacancy for a musician
Christ Church in Mayfair, Johannesburg has a vacancy for a musician who, in the context of the vision of both the Anglican Diocese of Johannesburg, and also the vision of the Parish Priest and leadership team, meets the following criteria:
(1) able to lead music in a worship environment.
(2) experienced with both contemporary worship music and traditional choral music
(3) able to work with diverse people.
(4) able to form and lead a music group with contemporary instruments
(5) able to work closely with other leaders within the church.
(6) good organizational skills
(7) able to play a music instrument (recommended organ or piano)
Christ Church Mayfair is one of the oldest churches in the Diocese, and has a small choir with excellent voices. The church is fortunate to have both a piano and a pipe organ.
